Everything in Florida is about an hour away. (Unless, of course, you want to go to Disney world…which is about 3 hours away…so sad) And you drive in a flat straight line to get there. Parking is cheap (really cheap). Chris and I took a weekend trip to Fort Lauderdale. Very nice.
It’s called the ‘Venice of America’. In the Intercoastal Waterway there are places to stay and the only way to get there is by boat. Restaurants have boat docks so you can sail your way to dinner.
